The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) has conducted an investigation into the situation pertaining to the political asylum claims of Falun Gong practitioners in South Korea. The results of this investigation show that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been exerting influence on the South Korean government with regard to the treatment of Falun Gong refugees.

Since March 9, 2006, the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) has collected a large amount of evidence from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Political and Legislative Affairs Committee, and organ transplant centers and hospitals of military, armed police, and local government in 30 provinces, metropolitan cities, and autonomous regions in Mainland China. These pieces of evidence collectively confirm that the CCP has been harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners and experimenting on live human bodies.

According to a Minghui.org report dated June 19, 2005, 37 year old female Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong died in the emergency room at the No. 1 Hospital Affiliated with the China Medical University in Shenyang City on June 16, 2005 after suffering relentless tortures [1].
