Zeng Li
Summary: Zeng Li, male, born in November 1966. Director and chief surgeon of the Organ Transplant Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of the Naval Medical University of the People's Liberation Army (formerly Changhai Hospital Affiliated to the Second Military Medical University), and chief expert of the Renal Transplant Department of Shanghai Changhai City Hospital. Professor of the Organ Transplant Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of the Second Military Medical University (formerly the Changzheng Hospital Affiliated to the Second Military Medical University) and the PLA Organ Transplant Research Institute. Since the establishment of the Organ Transplant Center in March 2016, the Changhai Hospital of the Second Military Medical University has reported nearly 1,000 liver and kidney transplants by the end of 2017. Telephone investigation shows: One or two kidney transplants are performed every day, and there are too many. The liver source is available in ten days or half month. According to the testimony of Bai Shuzhong, the former Minister of Health of the General Logistics Department of the PLA, the Changzheng Hospital and the Changhai Hospital of the Second Military Medical University are the main hospitals for live organ harvesting in the military.
In view of the broader background of the Chinese Communist Party's state crime of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, since the First Affiliated Hospital of the Naval Medical University of the People's Liberation Army (formerly Changhai Hospital of the Second Military Medical University) has been involved in the crime, Zeng Li, the director of the hospital's Organ Transplant Center, is a major suspect.

Personal Profile: Director of the Organ Transplant Center, the First Affiliated Hospital of the PLA Naval Medical University (formerly the Changhai Hospital Affiliated to the Second Military Medical University), Professor of the Organ Transplant Institute, and Professor of the Renal Transplant Department, the Second Affiliated Hospital of the Second Military Medical University (formerly the Changzheng Hospital Affiliated to the Second Military Medical University), and the PLA Organ Transplant Institute. Surgeon skill level 6. Zeng Li has won the third-class honors twice, and is a well-known kidney transplant expert in China. He is also a member of the PLA’s Organ Transplantation Committee, a member of the Organ Transplantation Committee of the Chinese Medical Association, and a member of the Pancreas, Kidney, and Small Intestine Transplantation Group.
He graduated from the Department of Military Medicine of the First Military Medical University in 1989, and obtained a master's degree in medicine from Tongji Medical University in 1997.
He has been working in the fields of urologic surgery and kidney transplantation for nearly 16 years, and is skillful at kidney transplantation, diagnosis and treatment of urinary tract tumors, and endovascular urologic surgery.
His professional focuses include kidney transplantation and treatment of kidney disease complications, pancreas transplantation, pancreas-kidney combined transplantation, and liver-kidney combined transplantation[1].
Bai Shuzhong, who served as the Minister of Health of the PLA General Logistics Department from 1998 to 2004, admitted in a telephone investigation conducted by WOIPFG, that during his tenure, Jiang Zemin personally ordered organ harvesting of living Falun Gong practitioners, and that the hospitals affiliated with the Military Medical Universities—the Changhai Hospital of the Second Military Medical University is among them---were the main hospitals in the military system that carried out Jiang's order. [2]
Since the first kidney transplant in 1978 and the first liver transplant in 1996, Changhai Hospital of the Second Military Medical University claims that "transplantation technology has always maintained a leading position in China[3]". Zeng Li, director of the Renal Transplantation Department of Shanghai Changhai Hospital, is the chief expert. He has been engaged in urology and kidney transplantation for nearly 16 years, and is good at kidney transplantation, diagnosis and treatment of urinary tumors, and endourology. His main research direction is the basic and clinical research on complications such as infection after kidney transplantation and delayed recovery of renal function. Genetic research on urological tumors. Participated in the research on animal experiments and clinical applications of HCA-Ⅱ new multi-organ preservation fluid.[4]
The hospital's urology department introduced on its website that "1. The quality of the kidneys is good, and the renal function recovers quickly after surgery; 2. The source of kidneys is sufficient, and the waiting time for transplantation is short".[5]
The Changhai Hospital of the Second Military Medical University established a transplant center in March 2016[6]. By the end of 2017, it had reported nearly 1,000 liver and kidney transplants. On May 18, 2016, the Changhai Hospital established an organ transplant department. From March 7 to May 18, the organ transplant department performed 48 kidney transplants.[7]

Summary
We’ve been doing kidney transplantation all along, and more than 300 cases have been done this year. Summary
Last year, we performed over 100 liver transplants and 500-600 kidney transplants. Today, we performed two liver transplants and two kidney transplants. Liver sources will become available after waiting for 10 days or half a month. A liver transplant will need one million rmb yuan, and a kidney transplant will need 500,000 rmb yuan. A donor organ will be taken care of for you. Where could you get it for 150,000 rmb yuan? Liver and kidney donors will become available after waiting for ten days. We are doing it everyday, and we do a lot of it. But we don’t do as many as Renji Hospital.
