Yu Lixin
Yu Lixin, male. Date of Birth: June 10, 1950. A native of Cizhuang Village, Tengzhuangzi Township, Huanghua City, Hebei Province. [1]
Personal profile: Chief surgeon, professor, doctoral supervisor and chief expert of the Department of Kidney Transplantation of Tsinghua Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. Formerly director, professor, chief surgeon and doctoral supervisor of Organ Transplantation Department of Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University. Recipient of the special allowance of the State Council. Distinguished expert of the CCP Central Health Bureau. He serves as the leader of the National Kidney Transplantation Professional Group, permanent member of the Chinese Medical Association Organ Transplantation Society, the director-level member of the Guangdong Organ Transplantation Society.
He was a visiting scholar at the Wisconsin Organ Transplant Center in 1993. He graduated from the Medical Department of the First Military Medical University in 1976. He has served as the urology surgeon, the attending surgeon, the deputy chief surgeon and chief surgeon of the Organ Transplantation Department of the First Military Medical University, and the director, professor and chief surgeon of the Organ Transplantation Department of Southern Medical University.[2]
Since taking office, up to February 2011, he had cooperated with colleagues to complete more than 3,800 cases of allogeneic kidney transplantation; 50 cases of living donor kidney transplantation from relatives; and 50 cases of liver transplantation. He pioneered combined pancreas-kidney-duodenal transplantation in South China, for a total of 6 cases.[3]
The number of kidney transplants in Nanfang Hospital Affiliated with Southern Medical University, where he served as director of organ transplantation department, has ranked the second in the country for many years, and the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery has done the most liver transplants in Guangdong Province. The transplant doctor disclosed in the investigation by WOIPFG that the waiting time for a donated organ is short here, the hospital was given priority to receive liver donations, and the director does surgery for overseas patients only. The hospital is the first medical center of the Chinese army treating overseas patients, serving as a tool for the United Front and providing special services for wealthy merchants. One of the doctors said, "Our (real) human skin supplies are excessive" The First Affiliated Hospital of the First Military Medical University of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) was handed over to Guangdong Province by the army in August 2004 and renamed Nanfang Hospital Affiliated to Southern Medical University[4]. It is the main hospital for the CCP’s military to harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Bai Shuzhong, who served as the head of the Department of Health, PLA General Logistics Department from 1998 to 2004, directly admitted during WOIPFG's telephone investigation that during his tenure in office, Jiang Zemin personally ordered the organ harvesting of living Falun Gong practitioners, and that the Affiliated Hospital of Military Medical University was the major hospital that carries out Jiang Zemin’s order in the military system .[5]
Up to now, Yu Lixin has been engaged in the clinical, scientific research and teaching work of organ transplantation for more than 40 years. He has completed more than 4,000 kidney transplant operations, including the first combined liver-pancreas-duodenum transplant in Asia and the ninth in the world, the first combined liver-kidney transplant in Asia for the oldest patient, and the first two combined pancreas transplants in South China. In July 2020, the Tsinghua Chang Gung Organ Transplant Center hired domestic kidney transplant expert and former Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University doctor, Yu Lixin, as the specially appointed chief expert, who led Deputy Chief Surgeon Ye Junsheng to form a kidney transplant team. In August of the same year, the kidney transplant department was officially put into operation. By September 13, 2021, the 200th kidney transplant was carried out at Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Hospital affiliated to Tsinghua University. The kidney transplant department of Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Hospital, led by Yu Lixin, is affiliated to the Organ Transplant Center, which is where the Beijing Organ Donation and Transplantation Quality Control Center is. The kidney transplantation team was established in 2020. Since its establishment, the department has developed rapidly. It currently performs about 200 kidney transplants per year, ranking first in Beijing and among the top in the country. It currently carries out adult kidney transplantation, pediatric kidney transplantation, liver-kidney combined transplantation, and pancreas-kidney combined transplantation. [6] In light of the CCP's state crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, Yu Lixin is a major criminal suspect in the crime of genocide of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
