Wang Zhengxin
Summary: Wang Zhengxin, male, born in 1968, is the Director of the Liver Transplant Center at Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University. He was formerly an Associate Professor and Associate Chief Surgeon at the Military Organ Transplantation Research Institute of Shanghai Changzheng Hospital. He participated in over 800 clinical liver transplant surgeries and post-operative treatments at Changzheng Hospital, including the second case performed there, and has been a key member in the hospital's liver transplant program. The Organ Transplant Center at Changzheng Hospital is the first organ transplant research institution in the Chinese military, capable of performing kidney, liver, heart, liver-kidney, and pancreas-kidney transplants, with the transplant volume ranking among the top in the country.
Wang Zhengxin has personally completed over 1,400 liver transplants, making him one of the most prolific liver transplant surgeons in China, with an annual average of 180-230 liver transplants. Phone investigations of Huashan Hospital revealed that donors can be selected, waiting times are short, donor supply is ample, and liver transplants are performed daily.
In view of the broader background of the Chinese Communist Party's state crime of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, since Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University is involved in the crime, Wang Zhengxin, the director of the hospital's Liver Transplant Center, is a major suspect.

Personal Profile: Associate Professor and Deputy Chief Surgeon of the PLA Institute of Organ Transplantation. Associate Professor, Deputy Chief Surgeon of Organ Transplantation Department, Deputy Director of General Surgery and Director of Liver Transplantation Center of Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University in Shanghai. Currently he is a member of the Organ Transplantation Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Transplantation Medicine Committee of the Chinese Association of Research Hospitals, a member of the Basic Science Group of the Organ Transplantation Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and a young member of the Organ Transplantation Committee of the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Medical Association.
In 2007, Wang Zhengxin went to Hong Kong Queen Mary Hospital to study liver transplantation using living donors and various regular liver cancer resections, and in 2010, he went to Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Kaohsiung, Taiwan to study pediatric living donor liver transplantation. He participated in the first cases of twice, three times, and four times liver transplants at Changzheng Hospital. He also participated in the first emergency severe liver transplant, the first semi-transposition liver transplant, combined liver and kidney transplant, etc. [2] So far, he participated more than 800 liver transplant operations and post-transplant treatments. He has become a key member in Changzheng Hospital’s liver transplantation. He is capable of independently performing various types of liver transplants, and he acted as the chief surgeon or the first assistant in nearly 400 cases of liver transplants[3].
The Organ Transplant Center of Changzheng Hospital is the PLA’s first organ transplantation institute. It is capable of conducting many kinds of transplantation, such as kidney, liver, heart, simultaneous liver-kidney transplantation, and simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplantation. The number of transplantation cases ranked among the top in China. [4] The hospital is an affiliated hospital of the Military Medical University and is a criminal unit suspected of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.
On September 30, 2014, the recording of WOIPFG’s telephone investigation of Major General Bai Shuzhong, the former head of the Health Department of the General Logistics Department of the CCP’s military confirmed this fact[5].
He has completed more than 1,400 liver transplant operations as the major surgeon[6] and is among those considered as most experienced experts on liver transplant operations in China. Currently, the average annual number of liver transplant operations completed stands between 180 and 230 cases[7].
Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, formerly known as General Hospital of China Red Cross, was established in 1907, with a good reputation within and outside of China[8]. The Research Institute of Fudan University on Organ Transplant was founded in February 2002 and headed by academician Zheng Shusen, with academician Qiu Fazu among its senior advisors. It is focused on clinical and basic research about large organ transplant[9].
