CCP’s State Crime: Live Organ Harvest of Falun Gong Practitioner
With ten years of investigation, the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) came to a conclusion: the organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners is a state crime committed by Jiang Zemin and CCP. Ever since 1999, CCP led by its former leader Jiang Zemin has been utilizing the entire state apparatus, including the party, the army, the police, the judicial system and the medical institutions to implement genocide on Falun Gong practitioners with live harvesting organs for organ transplantation. It is a crime against humanity.
I. The crime was ordered by Jiang Zemin and committed by CCP.
So far, WOIPFG has collected about 10 thousands pieces of evidence through over 10 thousands investigation telephone calls, from which over two thousands of phone calls were recorded, and through the multiple rounds of data search and analysis on 865 hospitals and more than 9,500 doctors carrying out organ transplants and through what’s shown on about ten thousands of media reports, doctors’ papers and hospital websites.
Among them, there are more than 60 phone records and 1,628 data evidences collected from the doctors from over 30 hospitals, officials from the Red Cross’s organ donation office, 5 CCP’s Standing Committee members, one vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, one politburo member, the minister of defense, the minister of the Ministry of Health of the PLA General Logistics Department, one armed security guard and a number of Politics and Law Committee officials.
A great many evidences showed that the organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners is a state crime committed by Jiang Zemin and CCP.
II. Since 1999, the industry of organ transplantation in China has been developed extremely fast.
He Xiaoshun, a Member of the China Organ Donation Committee (CODC) and vice president of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University, said, "The number of liver transplants in 2000 is 10 times of that in 1999, and the number again tripled in 2005."
1. There is a 20 fold difference in the number of the hospitals doing liver transplants.
Before 1999, China had 19 liver transplantation hospitals, and the number has grown to be more than 500 by April 2006.
2. Comparing the annual numbers of organ transplant in China before and after 1999, there is a extremely huge difference in the annual cases of liver transplants.
During more than 20 years before 1999, the total number of liver transplants was only 135. That means only 5 or 6 cases per year. From 1991 to 1998, there were 78 cases of liver transplants, which means 9.7 cases per year in average. From 1999 to 2006, the number reached 14,085. During these 8 years, more than 1760 cases were done per year in average.
You can hardly believe that 4,231 cases of liver transplants were done in a year from June 24, 2006 in China even after the world began to focus the issue of the CCP’s organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. Compared with the period from 1991 to 1998, there is a 436 fold difference in the average annual cases.

III. An abundance of evidence proves there is a huge live organ pool in China.
1. The waiting time for organ donation is too short.
In normal countries, the average waiting time for liver or kidney transplants is two or three years. But in China, after 1999, one only needs to wait one or two weeks for such transplants surgery.
2. The rate of emergency liver transplants is as high as 26.6%.
According to China Liver Transplant Registry’s 2006 Annual Report, from April 6, 2005 to Dec. 31,2006, out of the 8,486 liver transplant cases from 29 transplant centers, 1,150 cases were emergency liver transplants. The rate is 26.6%. The fastest surgery was done only in 4 hours after the patient’s admission into hospital.
3. Simultaneous multiple transplants were done. 24 liver or kidney transplants were done within one day.
In the investigation, we found many hospitals were able to do multiple transplants simultaneously, say several ten surgeries. Doctors were too busy to take day-offs. For example:
In Xinqiao Hospital affiliated to the Third Military Medical University, 24 kidney transplants were conducted on the same day.
In the Tianjin First Central Hospital, 24 liver or kidney transplants were conducted on the same day. In the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University, 19 kidney transplants were conducted on the same day.
More surprisingly, in Fuzhou General Hospital of Nanjing Military Region, they’ve got 5 livers from the same place at the same time. Among them, one was an emergency surgery.
Simultaneous multiple transplants were reported on websites. In 2014, WOIPFG found 42 hospitals conducted such surgeries.
4. More donor organs were backup for a single transplant surgery.
According to CCP’s official media the people.com.cn, when Tan Jianming, the director of Shanghai Organ Transplants Research Center, operated a kidney transplant surgery, 8 backup donor kidneys were prepared.
It was discovered that when Huang Jiefu, the former Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health, operated one surgery, 4 donor livers were prepared and 3 of them were from living donors according to analysis.
5. While Falun Gong practitioners are brutally abused and tortured during their detention, they are forced to have blood test and organ examinations, and all other detainees are not treated this way.
6. Unexplained gap between the numbers of the death row prisoners and the cases of organ transplants
Experts from Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) estimate that due to many death row prisoners are not qualified donors for health reasons, even only to complete the ten thousand cases of organ transplant each year claimed by CCP officially from 2000, there should be at least 100 thousand people per year involved in organ matching, which can’t be explained by organs from death row prisoners and the organ donation system in China.
IV. When live organ harvesting was reported in the world, organ transplants were “on sale”.
On April 28, 2006, an advertisement for free organ transplants surgery was seen in Hunan People’s Hospital. They offered 20 liver/kidney transplant surgeries for free. That meant many organs needed to be used up immediately…
V. The number of organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners by CCP is extremely beyond imagination.
Summarizing all the evidence and clues they betrayed, we can see the number of live organ harvesting is quite unexpectedly huge!
The hospitals suspected to be involved are from small to large, even including traditional Chinese medicine hospitals, MCHs, forensic hospitals, occupational disease hospitals that are unqualified for surgeries.
WOIPFG discovered that over 9,500 doctors from 865 hospitals were involved in organ harvesting. Among them, 96 military and local hospitals conducted 2,000 to 3,000 operations per year. If each of them conducted 2,000 cases per year, they totally should have done 192,000 cases. For ten years, they did 1.92 million. For example,
1. Tianjin First Central Hospital. The real numbers of liver/kidney transplants they operated were 5,000 per year from the year 2000. At the peak period, it might reach 8,000 per year.
2. PLA 309 Hospital. From 2012, its real transplant surgeries was over 4,000 cases per year.
3. He’nan Province Gongyi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital set up a kidney transplant center in 2001. In 2006, Li Hongdao, the president of the hospital operated more than 500 kidney transplant surgeries.
4. On July 24,2015, Yang Guang, a Chinese issue expert residing in Denmark stated that over 500,000 Falun Gong practitioners were killed by organ harvesting just in general People’s hospitals and city level hospitals. The number does not include the cases of armed police hospitals, military hospitals and police hospitals.
Therefore, the number of Falun Gong practitioners killed by live organ harvesting is too huge to be imagined.
It is quite difficult to find out the truth under CCP’s dictatorship. For a long period of time during World War II, the international society didn’t believe a mass massacre of the Jews by the Nazis really happened. They didn’t see the grave sin until the Allies hit the Auschwitz Concentration Camp. The investigation after the war shows that over 6 million Jews were murdered.
Today, what CCP has done is more evil than what the Nazis did. Such atrocities were exposed ten years ago in 2006 to the international community, yet continue today. If human beings cannot face up to this horrible crime, the civilization of this world will cease to exist.
The persecution of Falun Gong practitioners is a form of genocide and a crime against humanity. All those that have participated must be held responsible. Whether it is a country, an organization or an individual, every single one will be subjected to legal and moral penalties. Investigating and stopping the CCP’s crimes against humanity is the responsibility and honor of every country, organization and individual.
WOIPFG will continue to investigate globally the criminal conduct of all institutions, organizations and individuals that have been involved in the crimes of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. No matter how long it takes, no matter how far and deep we have to search, we will continue to do our investigation to the end, and bring justice back to the world!
